"Rajuuu... Tie the knot properly. It might fall down" Mayank instructed his friend doing the decoration works.

His sister Taarini got married to one of the reputed families of Rajasthan. She is going to visit their home for the first time after marriage . Her husband and family might come along with her. He is already anxious because of the status differences between them and their sambandhi. They don't want to make any mistake and embarrass themselves in front of the reputed Chauhans.

"Bhayya, Is everything alright??" Mayank's younger sister Taani asks him seeing his worried expression.

He nods his head and pats her head giving a gentle smile. They discuss about the small decoration setting outside their three room rented house.

Mayank gets back to his work unaware of the eyes looking at them.....

" These people are so lucky." One of their neighbours living in their street commented .

"Lucky?? I don't think getting married to a divorcee is  luck. I heard the groom has a child from his first marriage " Another one whispered back.

" Whatever... The girl's destiny got changed just in one day. After all she became the daughter in law of chauhans."

They continued gossiping about Mayank's sister and chauhans.

An SUV stopped in front of Mayank's house.

A girl steps out of the car. She is wearing a beautiful red colour saree. Her hands are adorned with bangles and henna. She has a long mangalsutra around her neck. Dark red coloured vermilion filled her hair partition.

" Tara" Mayank engulfs his sister into a hug.

Taarini breaks down in his arms.

"Don't cry baccha." He breaks the hug and wipes her tears. He looks at the car and then back to Taarini.

"I've come alone." She controls her tears.

"Diiii" Taani comes from behind and brightly smiles at Taarini taking her into another hug.

Taarini smiles painfully. She tries to hide her vulnerability from her bubbly teenage sister. But her brother notices her unsaid emotions.

" Let's go inside" He tells them softly.

Chauhan mansion

" I really can't believe bhai did this to Arjun. He got him married to a girl from streets. Seriously???"  Virender chauhan's sister Subhadra is angry at her brother.

"Let it be Subha. Maybe she is written in his destiny. I feel that the girl is really innocent." Virender's wife Bhavna tries to calm her sister in law.

"Bhaabi, Don't tell me you got impressed by her just in a day. You're so naive. People are so much cunning nowadays. This is like a dream come true for girls especially from a lower middle class family."

" Subha, please don't make any judgements without knowing her. I don't know about her yet but my heart is having a weird satisfaction today. Maybe she will give my Arjun the love he deserves."

" Oh come on.. You always used to defend swetha. What happened at the end?? She turned out to be a snake. Arjun's life got destroyed because of her."

"Enough is enough Subha. Don't ruin my mood bringing up the past. Swetha is still his child's mother. We can't keep on blaming her. There will be a time when she will realise what she lost by cheating arjun. I just want my son's happiness. Let him forget the bitter past and come out of it."

" I'm sorry bhabi. I'm just worried for his future. He didn't even got the time to heal himself...(Signs).. It was not Arjun's fault that his father threw a mass wedding for poor families and he was forced to marry a random girl just because her fiancee didn't show up at the time of wedding. Bhai just thought about his political career and backlashes from media. He was selfish to maintain his so-called 'saint politician' tag. Moreover this would give him a boost for the coming elections." Subhadra grits her teeth recollecting the injustice faced by her nephew Arjun who is like a son to her.

Bhavna didn't have an answer as she knew that her husband is selfish when it comes to his career and image. He is a generous man for the world. Only few people know his hidden agenda.

"Maa" Ankit ,Bhavna's elder son interrupted their conversation.

Bhavna looks at his blank face. He is a serious man. His face is devoid of any emotions.

"I'm leaving for Mumbai." He bends down to take Bhavna's blessings.

Ankit's pregnant wife Neha walks towards them.

Subhadra hugs Ankit and blesses him.

"When will you come back??" Subhadra adjust his coat.

"Maybe after a week." Ankit replies politely

"Ohh I'll go by noon tomorrow" Subhadra says sadly

Ankit nods...

"At least show some emotions man. Your bua is going back to London tomorrow. "

Bhavna smiles at her sister in law's irritated expression. Neha also looks at them curiously.

"Bye Maa, bye bua" He press his lips together , then turn to his wife and says "bye"

Subhadra rolls her eyes at the most unromantic robotic exchange of words. She shakes her head.

Neha follows her husband till the doorstep. He goes without turning back.

" I really want to know how she became pregnant by him" Subhadra tells bhavna looking at the couple's direction.

"Subhadra!!!" Bhavna close her ears and rushes from there. Her sister in law's blunt personality can't be dealt with anyone.

Taarini's house

"I'm so sorry baccha. I'm not a good brother. Maa baba would be disappointed by me." Mayank's voice cracks.

"No bhayya. You're the best brother in the world. We are lucky to have you in our lives. Don't worry. Everything will be alright." Taarini consoles him.

"We lost everything because of my stupidity. My business idea drained baba's hard earned money which would've been used for your marriage. I never thought Rahul would cheat us in the last minute. He was the one who proposed for marriage. I got convinced by him when he told me that he would like to marry you. I believed him when he said that his parents are ok for the community wedding. You got dragged into all these things because of me. I shouldn't have persuaded you to leave behind your career and get married to Rahul"

"It's ok bhayya. As a brother, you wanted to safeguard my future. I know you chose Rahul because he was your trusted friend. God had another plan for me. That's why Rahul backed off at the time of wedding. " Taarini tells him sadly.

" Tara, can I ask you something?" Mayank hesitates a little

Taarini nods her head

"Do you love him(Rahul)?" Mayank ask his sister as he was tensed for her

"No Nooo...Bhai, Rahul is now a closed chapter. I'm glad that I never felt anything for him even when he became my fiancé. Trust me. Don't feel bad. As mumma says everything happens for a reason. Maybe this is how everything is supposed to be." Taarini signs
